Captured as a suspected rebel during the Sepoy Rebellion.
The British military court sentences him to death by cannon.
They tie him to the mouth of a loaded gun.
The fuse is lit.
Ahmed is blown to pieces in public as an official warning.
This was called “blowing from a gun” — completely legal under British military law.
