It was everything to meet Elizabeth Bellak, one of the very few remaining survivors of the holocaust. She was the Polish Shirley temple! She found her sister”s diary after the war, published it and it became a NY times best seller called Renia’s Diary. She is resilient and courageous and I will keep every moment we had together with me for the rest of my life.  She is kind, funny, brave and all in all miraculous.
