This is the story of Richard Koné. A player who went from the streets of Abidjan to professional football in just 4 years.

Kone’s rise is nothing short of incredible. From a period of homelessness in Ivory Coast to leaving at just 16 in search of something greater in the UK, representing his country at the Homeless World Cup and grinding his way through non-league. Everything had to be earned.

At Athletic Newham, he made his mark. Scoring 125 goals in 148 games and forcing his way into the professional game.

January 2024 changed everything. At 20 years old, he signed for Wycombe Wanderers. What followed became something bigger than anyone could’ve imagined.

Alongside Manchester United, Juventus and France legend Patrice Evra, Richard takes us back to where it all began. Walking us through the setbacks, the sacrifices, and the resilience it takes to keep going when everything is against you.
