A fuel-driven economy leads to fuel-driven wars.⁣
⁣
We need policies that reduce our dependency on fossil fuels and increase our renewable-centered energy systems.⁣
⁣
The most effective response is not to double down on oil and gas. It is to reduce dependence on them.⁣
⁣
Your government should do two things now: protect people from immediate hardship and speed up the shift to renewable-centred energy systems.⁣
⁣
If there’s money for war and fossil fuels, there’s money for renewables - which are safe for people, the economy and the planet.⁣
