A viewer called him a raccoon.
We're going to need a moment. 

Not because we're upset.
Because we are committed to facts here and the facts require addressing with the full weight of the educational platform we apparently now are. 

Red panda. Ailurus fulgens. Himalayan origin. Entirely separate species from raccoon. Not related. Not similar. Not even in the same taxonomic neighbourhood. The red panda is the sole member of the family Ailuridae which is a sentence that raccoons cannot say because raccoons are procyonids and that is a completely different family and we will not be accepting confusion between the two. 😤

Also.
Endangered.
Fewer than 2.500-10,000 left in the wild.

A raccoon has never once been endangered because raccoons are famously fine everywhere and we say this with full respect for raccoons who are doing great. 👁️

This is a real species.
A real conservation concern.
A real animal that we have real life experience with and are using this platform to represent with complete accuracy and also gold chains and AI photo shoots globally. 🐾

The viewer has been educated.
The viewer is welcome.
The facts remain facts regardless of what the viewer called him and he remains unbothered at a level that is frankly inappropriate given the circumstances. 🔥

Not a raccoon. Never was. Conservation status: endangered. Vibes status: unmatched. 🌿
