JYP Entertainment (jypentertainment) is building more than just a new HQ… it’s a full-on K-culture hub 🏢

Designed by architect Hyunjoon Yoo, the upcoming JYP headquarters in Gangdong’s Godeok Biz Valley will span a 10,000㎡ site with a total floor area of around 69,000㎡, rising 17 floors above ground and 5 below. 

With construction approval now secured, ground-breaking is set for later this year 🔥

Inside, the building will house large-scale practice rooms, a main auditorium, and integrated office spaces for artists and staff — with final safety checks to be completed before construction officially begins.

But here’s the highlight: an open public space featuring an 800-seat performance hall, photo zones, and cultural rest areas — designed for fans, locals, and tourists to experience K-culture up close 🖤

건축가 유현준이 설계한 이번 신사옥은 강동구 고덕비즈밸리에 들어서며, 부지 약 1만㎡, 연면적 6만 9,000㎡ 규모로 지상 17층·지하 5층으로 조성될 예정인데요. 하반기 착공을 목표로 현재 건축허가까지 완료된 상태입니다 🔥

내부에는 소속 아티스트를 위한 대형 연습실과 대강당, 임직원 업무 공간 등 엔터테인먼트 핵심 기능이 집약되고, 안전 영향 평가 등 사전 절차 이후 본격적인 공사가 시작됩니다.

특히 주목할 포인트는 공개공지. 약 800석 규모 공연장과 포토존, 문화·휴식 공간까지 마련돼 팬과 시민, 관광객 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 열린 공간으로 확장됩니다 🖤
