Some of you may think I've abandoned freshwater bass fishing.  I'm still here.  I just happen to be enjoying the hell out of what I've been doing on the big pond.  Hoping to see a bounce back to the glory days of many bodies of water giving us all the chance at #BigBassDreams!  It's been awesome to see a few standout LMB catches in 2026, I'm hoping it continues. 

Catching and eating stunted largemouth seems to be a more common topic than it was when I yanked a 4lber out of the oven a couple summers ago 🤣. It's been interesting to see that conversation become common, which is great.  Some of you are still clutching onto your emotions instead of logic though.  #CatchFishNotFeelings

It's been ten years since I did BigBassDreams Volume 2!  I'd like the idea of a Volume 3 someday... #AnyBassDreams or #TinyBassDreams just doesn't have the same ring to it... 

While we are promoting the growth of Big Bass while encouraging the harvest of the sub 4lbers, I'd like to make a couple of observations.  Boat flipping fish and thrashing them around a boat is not good for them.  Especially if you don't have aqua_traction .  Dragging them onto the dirt is DEFINITELY not good for them.  Welling them as we get into the warmer water temps is not good for them.  Things I've been guilty of participating in (except the dirt one, that one always bugs me). However I like to think I'm able to learn from my mistakes and sharing with you may help you learn from mine so you don't have to live them yourselves.
