Arkansas Razorbacks’ Maria Jose Marin is presented the trophy after winning the 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur at Augusta National Golf Club.

Marin surged to a come-from-behind victory with a final-round 68, finishing a tournament-record 14-under-par to secure one of the most prestigious titles in amateur golf. The 19-year-old Colombian showcased poise down the stretch, highlighted by a crucial par save at the iconic 12th hole after her tee shot narrowly avoided rolling into Rae’s Creek.

She capitalized on the moment with a birdie at No. 13 and added another at No. 16 to close out the field, earning a four-shot victory and cementing her place in tournament history. Marin becomes the first Colombian—man or woman—to win at Augusta and joins an elite group of champions to claim both the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and NCAA titles.

Following the winning putt on 18, Marin celebrated with her family, coaches and teammates before being presented the championship trophy at Augusta National.
