#TSRHBCUuuuuKnow: #Roomies, #SpelmanCollege has the internet talking after unexpectedly making history. For the first time ever, the school crowned TWO juniors as Co-Miss Spelman for the 2026–27 academic year: Jillian Collier and Kinsley Wilson.

Here’s what happened, Kinsley was originally announced as Miss Spelman, but after officials double-checked the scores, they discovered a technical miscalculation. Once everything was corrected, Jillian actually had the higher score. Instead of stripping the title, Spelman decided to crown them BOTH. The Miss Spelman competition includes multiple categories, such as interviews, performances, Q&A, presentations, and community achievements, all combined into a final score.

The college released a statement, writing, “We recently shared the news of our expanded 2026-2027 Miss Spelman court, including our Co-Miss Spelmans. We made this decision to honor the excellence and admiration these scholars deserve.” It continues, “However, we cannot ignore that the digital conversation surrounding this issue has become ugly.
