According to #AndySlater of Fox Sports South Florida, Pearce’s legal team is negotiating a deal that would dismiss the charges in exchange for completing a program that includes therapy sessions and a six-month probation period.

As part of the program, Pearce must stay away from his ex-girlfriend, #RickeaJackson. He is expected to appear in court on May 7 to finalize the agreement.

As reported by Slater, Pearce’s attorney, Yale Sanford, says Jackson and the responding police officers have spoken with the state attorney’s office and agreed to the proposed deal as well.
