WrestleMania 42 drew a big crowd to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for both nights on April 18 and 19, but a running thread across social media all weekend was the cost of actually being there. Fans, wrestlers, and referees posted about bottled water prices in hotel rooms, resort fees, parking, stadium concessions, and the overall economics of the trip.

Among the prices that drew the most attention:

- $25 bottled water in hotel rooms
- $50 parking fees
- $60 resort fees
- $43 pizza slices at Allegiant Stadium
- $42.99 Wagyu burger
- $142.99 Tomahawk steak

Steph De Lander called out promoters for not providing water backstage at multiple shows she worked around the weekend.

“I’ve been back on indy shows for 4 weeks and have already been on multiple shows with zero water backstage for talent. There should be water available the entire show including for talent in the main event.”

Referee RozieTheRef said she was hospitalized for dehydration after working seven shows over the weekend. She credited SPARK Joshi and Maple Leaf Pro for providing water.

“After my 7th show on Sunday, I passed out and went to the hospital for dehydration. A 40 count case of water is 5 dollars. Show your talent you care more about them than just their bumps.”

One fan summed up the Vegas experience as a list of add-on charges — $50 parking, $60 resort fees, $20 water bottles in the room, and $500 buckets of beer.

Another fan directly questioned WWE’s pricing.

“We’re out here paying thousand dollar electric bills, rents out of hand, groceries cost a fortune, and WWE expects fans to fly to Vegas, pay for a hotel, spend thousands of dollars on WM tickets. We supposed to take out loans or something?”

The Allegiant Stadium menu became its own storyline, with the $142.99 Tomahawk steak and $42.99 Wagyu burger drawing the most attention.
