In case you missed it, Scouting for Food has officially "turned" 40! 🎉

....and it's only getting bigger and better with time. 😎

What began in St. Louis in 1985 has grown into a nationwide effort powered by Y O U (T H). 

Every year, #Scouts of all ages - alongside #Scouting volunteers, families and leaders - work to combat hunger in their own communities. 

This initiative doesn’t just feed your neighbors - it builds character. 

#ScoutingforFood teaches young people what it means to be a servant leader - in action. It's a collective, nationwide effort that impacts local communities and represents values that #ScoutingAmerica strives to instill: citizenship, helpfulness, kindness and compassion.
