"We are firmly in a new space race... and this time, that space race is against the Chinese."

On our PTB Live show, SCSP’s Kian Molani breaks down the escalating competition between the U.S. and China for lunar dominance. Just like the Apollo era, the moon is the center of the competition, but the goal has fundamentally changed. It’s no longer just about landing; it’s about establishing a permanent lunar base.

While the U.S. plans to return to the moon by 2028 with the Artemis program, China is rapidly advancing its International Lunar Research Station (in collaboration with Russia) with a goal of landing people by 2030. But as Kian warns, China might achieve that goal much sooner than expected.

Are we at risk of losing the new space race? Watch the recent episode on our channel!
