✨Shrimp Rasta Pasta

An easy flavorful and spicy shrimp that’s always in a rotation in my kitchen! 

Ingredients:

Shrimp Marinade:
1lb of skinless shrimp
1 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Teaspoon of Smoked Paprika
1 Tablespoon of Jerk Seasoning

Pasta:
1 Red Bell Pepper, Yellow Bell Pepper, and 1 Green Bell Pepper
1 Red Onion Sliced
4 minced garlic cloves
2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon of Unsalted Butter
Rigatoni Pasta
1/4 Cup of Pasta Water
1.5 Teaspoon of Adobo
1 Teaspoon of Smoked Paprika
1 Cup of Heavy Cream or (1/2 Cup of Heavy Cream + 1/2 Cup of Whole Milk)
2 Tablespoons of Cream Cheese
1/2 Cup of Parmasean/Pecorino Romano
3-4 Tablespoons of Jerk Seasoning

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, add the shrimp and the seasonings and set it to the side.
2. In a pan, add some oil and cook the shrimp till it’s pink.
3. Remove the shrimp and add the oil and butter into the same pan.
4. Add the bell peppers, onions, and garlic and sautéed for about 3-5 minutes on low heat.
5. In the meantime, boil your pasta according to the instructions 
6. Add your jerk seasoning, heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmasean/Pecorino Romano, pasta water till it comes together on a low boil
7. Add the pasta and shrimp
8. Add the seasonings
9. Cook till it all comes together and top with more pecorino cheese

*i use premade jerk paste from walkerswood from my supermarket*
