Why I Train Like an Athlete
Even as a Graphic Designer

1. Boosts Creativity
Working out increases blood flow to the brain, which can help unlock new ideas, improve problem-solving, and break creative blocks when you’re stuck on a design.

2. Counteracts Long Hours Sitting!!!!!! (Should be number 1)
Graphic designers spend hours at a desk. Regular exercise helps reduce back pain, neck stiffness, tight hips, and poor posture caused by sitting all day.

3. Improves Mental Clarity & Focus
Exercise can sharpen concentration and reduce brain fog, making it easier to stay locked in during long design sessions, revisions, or deadlines.

4. Reduces Stress & Burnout
Design work often comes with pressure, client feedback, and tight timelines. Workouts help lower stress hormones and improve mood, making it easier to handle creative pressure.

5. Builds Confidence & Personal Discipline
The same consistency needed in fitness translates into design growth. Building discipline in the gym can improve confidence, motivation, and consistency in creative work too.
