This book is dedicated to the ‘Newspaper Ecriture’ paintings by the late South Korean artist Park Seo-Bo (parkseobo), which were initiated in the late 1970s on archival newspaper.⁠

✨⁠ An intimate conversation between Park and Hans Ulrich Obrist (hansulrichobrist) charts the early inception of this series and the artist’s subsequent return to the medium in the early 2020s.⁠

✨⁠ An essay by scholar Mina Kim constellates the processual, physical and philosophical dimensions of this body of work, and its importance within Park’s oeuvre.⁠
