Ever wondered where a PR degree can take you? This week’s #MoodySpotlight shines on Madison Frederick, a txadpr senior from Austin, Texas! Madison chose #TEXASMoody because of the classes, opportunities and people.

Madison is studying PR because it is a perfect mix of everything she wants to learn. Her degree provides a great balance of creative and professional opportunities. “Studying PR has helped me become a more well-rounded person, both inside and outside of school.”

Outside of class, Madison has worked at c3presents as a guest services production intern and festival marketing intern for lollapalooza and aclfest since 2025. Previously, she has worked as a guest services and event management intern with moodycenteratx. In January 2026, Madison was hired by c3presents as an associate festival marketing manager and is beginning her new role as she simultaneously finishes out her final semester at Moody. Way to go, Madison!

Madison has also served as media chair and as a member of utcommcouncil. She ran a 15 person committee where she taught fellow members how to create content and cover events. “Outside of this org being the perfect way to get professional experience, it was also such a great social outlet. With things like big/little, a formal, and other bonding events, I would recommend joining this org to every Moody student, as there is something for everyone!”

“I’ve found some of my best friends from Moody orgs such as utcommcouncil. I’ve also met some of the most amazing professors such as Raoul Hernandez, who has been so helpful and supportive throughout my career. I couldn’t have picked a better college to be at, for my personal and professional growth.”

Madison is looking forward to finishing out her senior year and getting to see her hard work pay off as she begins her new job. “I’m feeling bittersweet about the end of my senior year, but I feel so lucky to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”

We can’t wait to see the amazing things you’ll do, Madison!🤘
