One year ago today, PinkPantheress (@😘🙈☺️) released “Stateside.” The track was accompanied by an Emma Berson-directed music video shot outside a JCPenney. Pink called it her favorite track she’d ever made. No one quite knew what it would become or where it would take her. Pink’s ‘Fancy Some More?’ remix project arrived in October 2025 with four separate versions of the song—remixes with Bladee, Groove Armada, Kylie Minogue, and Zara Larsson—each pulling the original into a different orbit while leaving its core intact.  The Larsson version was released as a standalone single in January 2026, along with a Charlotte Rutherford-directed music video. Then came Milan. On February 21, Alysa Liu skated her closing Olympic gala to the Larsson remix after winning gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics, which sent the song into another surge entirely. The track reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 singles chart, a first for both artists. It later peaked at No. 1 on the Spotify Global Daily Chart, logging 5.64 million streams in a single day on March 3.
