Is this the most unique beach in Minnesota?! 🖤 I love seeing black sand beaches on vacation but I learned you don’t have to leave the state to experience one! Opened to the public in 2015 and located in📍Silver Bay along Lake Superior is the beautiful Black Beach.

Bring a picnic 🧺 enjoy the scenery 🏖️ and go for a quick cold plunge dip💧if you’re feeling brave 🥶 

If you’re curious, the black color comes from taconite tailings
