Did you know Minnesota has a National Monument?! 🪨 2 actually but the one featured here is Pipestone National Monument which is just over 3 hours from the📍Twin Cities 🚗 and is free to visit!

🪔 Pipestone has been quarried for over 3,000 years by Native Americans and is an active site today 🔨 You must have a permit to quarry the soft stone but anyone can visit the site 

💦 There’s a gorgeous waterfall, great walking paths and an informative visitor center to learn about the history of this sacred site 🌠 Plus they have fun programming like star gazing
