Who else loves waterfalls in the spring?! 💦 The falls are usually rushing and with the snow receding, it’s a great (albeit wet) time to get out on the trails! Below are 8 of my favorite waterfalls in Minnesota and western WI 🥾 Which ones would you add?!

💧Willow River WI - short but steep hike down to the stunning falls
💧Kawishiwi Falls, Ely MN - short and relatively flat elevation hike to see these beautiful falls
💧Vermillion Falls, Hastings MN - very short walk from the parking lot for this view 
💧High Falls, Grand Portage MN - very flat paved walk to this viewpoint, tallest waterfall in MN but it shares the border with Canada so the tallest waterfall completely in Minnesota award goes to…
💧High Falls, Silver Bay MN - the hike here is really fun and includes walking over a suspension bridge
💧Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors MN - one of the most scenic and well known waterfalls in Minnesota and also accessible on paved paths
💧Minneopa Falls, Mankato MN - a short to the falls. Also by the bison range drive so check out that drive on your visit too 🦬 
💧 Big Manitou Falls, Superior WI - located in Pattison State Park, the whole park is scenic and includes more waterfalls
