Our skilled supplier starts by rolling what is essentially pasta dough into paper-thin pastry sheets. The sheets are brushed with vegetable oil and rolled into a long cylinder, the cylinder is cut into discs, and the discs are gently hand-pressed into wide, conical shapes.

For the finishing touch, each precious #Pastry gets loaded with a delectable filling of ricotta cheese & candied orange peel, partially closed to resemble a clam shell, then flash-frozen to be sent to your neighborhood Trader Joe’s! ✨
