Rafa has been named the Nor’easters 2025 MVP! Rafa’s dual role as both a finisher and creator was vital to the Storm. He led the team in goals (7) and assists (6). 

Rafa started the season strong, scoring the winner in our Home Opener versus RCNJ. This high level of play continued throughout the season. 

He put up a 1 goal + 2 assist performance in the Storm’s comeback win at WCU on June 10th, where his goal was once again the deciding strike. 

His pin-point cross field pass found Drew Roskos for a last gasp winner at RCNJ on July 10th. 

In the Regular Season Finale, he stole the show, scoring 4 goals and assisting twice (🤯) as OC demolished Delaware. 

He followed this up by scoring the first goal of the 2025 USL-2 Playoffs presented by VensureHD, with a cool finish from the spot. 

A joy to have on the team, Rafa’s presence brightened the whole mood of the squad. He made it clear he valued the team’s success more than Individual glory but, his performances left no doubt as to who our 2025 MVP was. 

Congrats Rafa! The club wishes you best of luck at USC Aiken this fall.
