🚨We have just days to mobilize and save James Broadnax! 

The state of Texas plans to execute James on April 30 for a double murder that he did not commit. The actual shooter, 
Demarius Cummings, admitted that he was the one who shot the victims back in 2008. He was sentenced to life without parole. 

James's trial was tainted by racial bias. The Dallas County prosecutors deliberately removed all prospective Black jurors from the jury pool. This left a then 19-year-old James to be convicted by a nearly all-white jury. Prosecutors used James' rap lyrics to try and prove that he was threat to society, describing them as "gangster rap."Artists like travisscott and killermike have supported James, arguing that rap lyrics are cultural and artistic expressions protected by the First Amendment, not indicators of any wrong doing.

We have to come together to save James. We must urge Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles to stop his execution. Join us! ▶️ 🔗
