Michael S. Vieira is a Lowell-based painter whose work is rooted in observation, place, and atmosphere. His paintings often explore local architecture, hidden corners, and quiet moments.

Working out of Western Avenue Studios, he runs a welcoming, artist-focused teaching studio offering figure drawing and portrait painting in a relaxed, drop-in format. His sessions bring together artists from the building and surrounding community, creating a space to slow down, study from life, and connect through a shared creative practice.
