What is life.. I got invited to NASA??? I learned so much in such little time that it was going in one ear and out the other 😂😂 the amount of knowledge & work that goes into their daily operations is nothing short of amazing.

I felt so out of place the entire day and I loved it.

To start the day we met Astronaut Nichole Ayers who’s flown F-22 fighter jets, spent almost 5 months in space, and has done a 5 hour spacewalk… She told us aside from the views, one of the best parts about space was the in-between moments with her crew members because of how it brings you closer together.

Then we got to see the Artemis III core stage roll out. It’s the rocket designed to send Orion, astronauts, and supplies to the Moon which was crazy to see because it was MASSIVE 😂😂

After that we toured the Michoud facility and although we got to see where they build the body for the rocket piece by piece.. the coolest part to me was seeing Hero’s Way, the wall had upwards to hundreds of mission patches from past space shuttle missions.

Once we finished there, we hopped on a bus to tour the Stennis Space Center where they test each engine by itself and then fire all four at once like a full launch.

We also got to tour where the engines are worked on at the L3Harris Engine Assembly facility… and were able to see the actual engines for Artemis III, IV, and V.

As I reflect on the trip… it was one of the best days of my life. I got to see where thousands of people push each other to be at their best every single day so we can keep moving forward as humanity. That’s really what “be the difference” looks like.

I didn’t go to space (yet) 👀😂 but I got a front row seat to what it takes.

rocketingrai dreamstodiscover … Thank you 🙏🏾
