Rahul and Aly: Dark Current.

A wooden canoe. The Amazon river. And something underneath the water that has been waiting a very long time for lunch.

This one took these two somewhere completely new — deep into the Amazon jungle, on the water, completely isolated, no rover, no backup, no plan B. Just them, a broken boat, and a giant anaconda that genuinely could not believe its luck.

I wanted to do something primal for this one. No technology. No villains with plans. Just nature doing what nature does — and two people figuring it out in real time.

The ending line is one of my favorites in the entire series.
