Most of you know me as DJ B-nice but on May 9th 2026 Brycen KeShawn August will be graduating with a BS in Civil Engineering from The Prairie View A&M University. I do not typically brag on my accomplishments and a lot of what I do as an engineering student goes unnoticed but allow me to walk you through my journey as a productive panther. 

- Awarded top civil engineer of my summer bridge cohort.
- Revived Baftax scholarship sponsor led by Philips 66 freshman year.
- Received scholarship from the Executive leadership Foundation and was apart of a symposium in Washington DC.
- Worked on research projects through the honors department sponsored by Fluor for three years 
- Worked in the library touting center as a math and physics tutor 
- Researched in the CEES laboratory apart of the civil engineering department of the Roy G Perry College of Engineering 
- Served as NSBE Vice President for 23’ - 24’ and 25’ - 26’ 
- Won NSBE CEB member of the year for 24’- 25’ 
- Awarded most outstanding Junior civil engineering student in the department 
- Inducted into alpha kappa Mu honor society 
- Awarded the honor roll every semester I have been enrolled in the university 
- Interred with Bartlett and West engineering firm for two years 
- Revived three full time offer letters before Graduations with salaries all over .. ha not telling you.

DJ accomplishments 
- Won dj battle my sophomore year 
- Dj of the year for 25-26 semester 
- If I’m not your favorite dj than who is ! 

The list goes on but God has been extremely good to me and has blessed my future. Thank you to all of my family that were here with me through the way. To the faculty and staff that helped me get here you will forever be  #pvgradswag26 #pvamu #classof2026 #engineer #pvamu26
