It was always Georgetown over everyone for Patrick Ewing. More importantly it was always John Thompson. Coach Thompson was a man you could look up to… A father figure. Thompson & Georgetown were good before Patrick Ewing arrived, but his “class kicked the door down”. The two appeared in 3 NCAA title games, & won in all in 1984.
