HBCU History in Gaming: Tonight, Southern University in Baton Rouge student, Coby Robinson, is set to compete for a national title — marking the first time an HBCU will play for a Division II esports championship.

🎮The Sophomore computer science major has advanced to the EA Sports College Football National Championship,  after a comeback victory in the semifinals. After losing the first game in a best-of-three series, Robinson battled back to win the next two — securing his spot in the finals.

The championship matchup will take place on April 22, with Southern facing Bellarmine University.
