Mentors don’t just show up. The right ones never leave.

I have to take a moment to honor two people who made BŪP Innovation Weekend what it was:

tracybingram and Travis Russi.

These aren’t people who came to check a box. They came because they’ve been where our founders are. They know the weight of building from zero. They know what founders actually need — not just the polished advice, but the real talk, the late nights, the “how can I help?” at 11pm when everyone else has gone home.

Tracy — thank you for stepping in Sunday with an impromptu vibe coding session you didn’t have to do. You broke down product build in a way that made it feel practical, not intimidating. You showed our founders that it’s not as hard as they thought — and then you proved it in real time. The teams you poured into were the winning teams. That’s not a coincidence. That’s a testimony.

Travis — thank you for getting our founders into the right mindset. For helping them see past the idea and into the viable business underneath it. For asking the hard questions that turned excitement into execution. You helped them think like operators — and that changed everything.

Both of you stayed late. Both of you helped with cleanup. Both of you showed up like it was your own event.

True leadership doesn’t announce itself. It just shows up, rolls up its sleeves, and asks — how can I serve?

We see you. We honor you. Thank you. 🙏🏾
