❗️BMW just dropped one of the rarest modern M cars ever, and it’s basically a superbike in coupe form.

The BMW M2 RR Edition is a special collaboration between BMW M and BMW Motorrad, directly inspired by their high-performance “RR” superbikes like the BMW M 1000 RR.

The whole concept blends two worlds, giving the M2 aggressive aero, red-accented styling, and track-focused upgrades that mirror BMW’s race bikes.

Visually, it leans heavily into a black-and-red motorsport theme.

You get Black Sapphire paint, red highlights on the aero pieces, plus a full M Performance setup with lowered suspension, lightweight wheels, and a louder Akrapovič exhaust.

It even runs a dual-spoiler setup with both a roof and trunk wing, which is pretty extreme for an M2.

Under the hood, it keeps the same 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six at around 473 horsepower, so this isn’t about chasing more power, it’s about sharpening the experience and making something collectible.

And that’s the real headline.

Only 10 units were produced, all exclusive to South Africa, making it one of the most limited modern BMW M cars ever.

BMW also paired the project with matching RR-edition superbikes, turning it into a full two-wheel and four-wheel collector concept rather than just a standalone car.
