[Save and share] For first time travellers, the best way to feel confident and reduce anxiety before your next trip is to prepare adequately. Here a few tips to help you prepare for your first travel adventure;

- Make sure your passport and visa are up-to-date.
 - it’s so easy to forget our passports and only remember them when we are ready to leave for our next adventure. Make sure to constantly check your passport and make sure it’s up to date. Most countries require that you passport is valid for 6 months after your return date.
 - Buy travel insurance: if anything my experience with traveling has taught me, it’s that anything can happen. Make sure you are covered especially since you are far away from home.
- Have cash in the currency of the country you are visiting : no matter how much you have in your bank account make sure you have a decent amount on you.

 - Make arrangements for transportation: there are always taxis outside of every airport but because they are in high demand they usually cost more. Make sure to book a pick up in advance or do your research to find out whether using public transportation might be an option for you.

 - Research: weather, religion and dress code
Make sure you do enough research to avoid any Surprises.
Is the weather cold or hot?
Do I need to wear conservative clothes?
What is the accepted code of conduct?
