Bob Geldof - Fresh back from Australia, told the story of playing a wild B&S (Bachelor & Spinster) Ball in the outback town of Goondiwindi — where, as he put it, isolated farmers gather every six months because “boys don’t get to see girls very often… and things happen.” Classic Geldof.

What started as a gig turned into a TV special (Geldof Goes to Goondiwindi), capturing the madness of rural Aussie nightlife — part music, part documentary, all chaos.

Terry, never one to hold back, poked at everything from Geldof’s supposed bankruptcy to his newly acquired “Sir” title — with Geldof firing back in equal measure. At one point, they even dug out an old photo of him getting punched on stage during the punk era. His response? Basically: standard gig behaviour in 1976.
