At least four people have been killed and more than 30 injured after a major overnight Russian attack across Ukraine.⁣

A rescue operation was underway in the city of Dnipro, where emergency personnel worked to reach survivors and retrieve the bodies of those killed. ⁣

In a post on social media, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the country was bombarded “practically all night”, adding most of the targets were urban infrastructure.⁣

“Every strike like this must remind our partners that the situation needs immediate and firm action,” Zelenskyy said. ⁣
⁣
Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 660 drones and missiles during the barrage, Ukraine’s air force said in a statement on social media. ⁣

It said it downed 580 drones and 30 missiles. ⁣
⁣
Russia's defense ministry said it had hit military-industrial and energy targets in Ukraine overnight.⁣
