Several vessels of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, including advanced destroyers and support ships, have been opened to the public at two ports in Shanghai to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the PLA Navy’s founding. The event offers visitors a rare opportunity to step aboard active-duty warships and experience naval life up close.⁣

In addition to guided tours of the vessels, the Navy has organized a range of interactive activities. Visitors can take part in hands-on experiences such as learning to tie maritime knots, exploring navigation equipment, and gaining insight into everyday naval operations through demonstrations led by sailors.⁣
