This is the 5th High Line Plinth commission, replacing the giant pigeon highlineartnyc highlinenyc 

The Light That Shines Through the Universe by Tuan Andrew Nguyen (tuan.andrew.nguyen) is an awe-inspiring, 27-foot-tall sculpture that pays homage to the 6th-century Bamiyan Buddhas of central Afghanistan.

Each plinth is on display for approx. 18 months. Catch this one through Fall 2027!
