## Caption

One of our students just completed their first bead roll project.

“I found an image, laser engraved it onto sheet metal, and mapped out which lines to keep using two Sharpie colors for different steps. I started bead rolling from the inside lines, then worked outward, making multiple passes to add depth. Afterward, I built an aluminum frame and finished it by sanding and polishing.

For tooling, I used a tipping die for the inner lines and a step die on the outer edges to create the raised contour.

Biggest takeaway: trust the process. Stay focused, keep going, then step back and reevaluate once it’s done.“
