We've awarded a contract to build the new Frederick Douglass Tunnel in Baltimore! This generational investment will replace the existing 150-year-old B&P Tunnel that limits train speeds to just 30 mph. Today’s announcement moves us one step closer to unlocking the Northeast Corridor's biggest bottleneck between Washington, DC and New Jersey. 🙌

This is one of the largest infrastructure projects on the east coast and a crucial piece of Amtrak’s plans to transform train travel and deliver a new era of passenger rail in America. #FutureOfTravel #FrederickDouglassTunnel
