Una Ciudad Revolucionaria 

Filadelfia es muy conocido como la ciudad que fundió los Estados Unidos. En Independence Hall, se reunieron los Padres Fundadores para escribir la Declaración de la Independencia, los Artículos de Confederación, y la Constitución de los Estados Unidos. Fue también la primera capital del país, antes que se movía a Nueva York y por fin Washington DC. Lo que fascina a muchos visitantes hoy es lo normal que son estos sitios. No son palacios grandes ni de oro. Una cámara de justicia donde se lanzó el gran experimento norteamericano. 

Philadelphia is widely known as the city that founded the United States. At Independence Hall, the Founding Fathers gathered to draft the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the U.S. Constitution. It also served as the country’s first capital before the seat of government moved to New York and, finally, Washington, D.C. What fascinates many visitors today is just how ordinary these sites are. They are neither grand palaces nor gilded halls—simply a chamber of justice where the great American experiment was launched.
