1. Explore the lighthouse - An early morning short hike to the beautiful lighthouse point for breathtaking views. Carry some breakfast/coffee to do picnic with the views.
2. Photography at the sunrise or sunset  is quite popular activity ti do.. 
3. Visit Presqu’ile provincial park - Enjoy hiking, walking, cycling etc.
4. Explore the Presqu’ile bay with a kayak or paddle board.. It’s a great way to see the lighthouse from a different perspective and explore the coastline.
5. Camp at Presqu’ile provincial park where campgrounds offers serene views of the bay from the waterfront campsite.

Historical significance:
1. For nearly 200 years this 63 foot lighthouse has remained a landmark.. 
2. Presqu’ile bay near the lighthouse is known for its “ship graveyard”. Numerous shipwrecks lie beneath its waters
3. The lighthouse was built to guide ships safely through the treacherous waters of Presqu’ile Bay, a critical navigation point for vessels travelling between Kingston and Toronto.
