This historical place in Ontario🇨🇦 is a home to 260 pictographs of about 300-1000 years old, making them one of the largest and oldest collections of rock art in Canada

These cliffs and pictographs can be viewed only from the water, so a guided boat tours or canoeing are the only options.

📍Bon Echo Provincial Prak, Ontario

Guided Tour details:
1. @friendsofbonecho provides a 45min guided tour for the visitors to learn more about the pictographs and the park’s history.
2. Cost : $30/adult, $15/child
3. Duration : 45 min 
4. No pets or strollers allowed

Other activities to do:
1. If you do not want an interpretive guided tour, you can chose to just purchase the ferry tickets for $15/person for a round trip, giving you access to Bon Echo’s popular trail which can only be accessed by the boat -The cliff top trail. This is a 5 min ferry ride with 1.5km linear trail providing hikers to experience breathtaking views from 300 feet above Mazinaw lake.
2. You can also get closer to the pictographs by canoe or kayak. 
3. Either carry your own gear or you can rent on site.
4. You can camp at this provincial park for $35 to $50 per night
5. You can also purchase a day pass to the provincial park for $18/vehicle.

Best Time to Visit
- Season: Late spring to early fall (May to October) offers the best weather for hiking and canoeing.
- Fall Foliage: Visit in late September to October to experience the stunning autumn colors.
