Turkish food in Canada 🇨🇦

Discover the rich flavors of Turkey at @sultanahmetca in Ottawa. From savory kebabs to delectable baklava, every bite transports you to the heart of Turkish culture.

Here’s what we tried :
1. A Turkish meal is incomplete without ‘Mix Meze Plate’. A vegetarian appetizer featuring creamy hummus, spicy ezme, refreshing cacik, and smoky baba ghanoush—this plate is perfect for sharing.
2. ‘Chef’s mix grill dinner for 1’ - The trio of famous kebabs featuring skewer Adana, skewer chicken shish, skewers veal shish. Served with bulgur, bread, grilled tomato and grilled pepper. This plate comes in great quantity and is delicious.
3. Vegetarian Pide, a Turkish pizza topped with delicious blend of vegetables and cheese.
4. A traditional Falafel plate , made out of freshly ground chickpeas. It has got golden crunchy texture.
5. Pistachio Baklava for dessert , served along with Turkish vanilla ice cream. This was heavenly 🤤
6. Also tried Margarita and Pina Colada. But my favourite was Margarita 😋
7. Finished the meal with a Turkish tea served in a tulip shaped glass, as per the tradition.
