🇨🇦Cape Breton national park is one of Nova Scotia’s most enchanting places where mountains meet the sea. 
You must make your stop at this beautiful town on your way to Cape Breton, and even plan a stay which is highly recommended.

Things to do at Inverness:
1. Visit Inverness Sandy Beach for sunbathing, swimming, or a leisurely stroll along the shoreline
2. A short 1.5km walk on the Inverness beach boardwalk and catch sightings of golfers playing Cabot links.
3. Visit Cabot cliffs golf course for stunning views and great accommodations.
4. Visit Celtic shores coastal trail, a beautiful trail that hugs the ocean, surrounded by nature

Local food scene:
1.Cape Breton Island offers a rich culinary heritage influenced by its Scottish, Acadian roots and it offer a lot of must-eat sea food items like Lobster, fish & chips, Oysters, Chowder, Scottish shortbread etc..

How to get here: 
1. Rent a car and drive from Halifax to Inverness which is about 3h 30 min long (Highly recommended)
2. Or take a bus which can take upto 5 hours of travel
