A perfect day trip from downtown Ottawa in less than 30 min drive!

📍 Wakefield, Quebec
.
Things to do :
1. Visit @eco.odyssee , a 6km water maze. Bring or rent canoe, paddle or peddle boats. The entire maze would take approximately 2-3hours to finish and is definitely worth to visit in the summer. If you are not a water person, you can skate on the maze in the winter.
2. Visit the Wakefield covered bridge, a footbridge open for pedestrians and cyclists to cross over the Gatineau river. A photography worth location. You can carry your swim wear but be mindful of the strong rapids.
3. Walk along the old train track.
4. Visit Wakefield mill falls
5. Hike at Wakefield blue trail which takes less than an hour.
6. Attend Wakefield farmers market on the summer evenings.
7. Just south of  Wakefield, you will find Canada’s highest bunjee jump.

2. @nikosibistropub , a traditional French cuisine fused with indigenous ingredients. Perfect for a family lunch/dinner, intimate date night.
