Know this before your booking:
1. Undergo a thermal cycle which involves in alternating between hot and cold temperatures as this would stimulate the body’s circulation system, boosts metabolism. So repeat the below :
Hot pool -> Cold Pool -> Sauna or steam rooms -> Relax 
2. Club the thermal spa experience with a massage for even more relaxing day. 
I personally get the massage done first and then plunge into the thermal experience

Prepare for a thermal spa day:
1. Swimwear is mandatory 
2. Carry a water bottle as the thermal spa experience can be dehydrating. There will be refilling stations on site
3. Carry a robe and slippers (not mandatory, as some facilities might provide this)
4. There will be a couple of hot, cold pools and saunas. And ample relaxing seatings (outdoor & indoor).

NOTE : IF THE THERMAL SPA EXPERIENCE IS BILLED TOGETHER WITH YOUR RMT (registered massage therapy) , THEN YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO REIMBURSE IN YOUR INSURANCE. I highly suggest to check with the respective spa upfront about this.
