## Caption

Have you ever been to the international ice sculpture festival called WINTERLUDE? Every February, Ottawa 🇨🇦 hosts WINTERLUDE, highlighting Canada’s cultural and artistic diversity. THIS EVENT IS ABSOLUTELY FREE TO ATTEND and is perfect for couples, families, and groups each weekend of the month!

Let me take you to the Snowflake Kingdom at Jacques-Cartier Park, Gatineau, where there are many FREE FUN ACTIVITIES to participate in:

Snowtubing - The queues can be long, but aim for the central slide zone with bigger bumps for an extra thrill.
Human foosball - I loved playing this game multiple times with my friends. A MUST TRY!
Tug of war - Bring your strength to play with no age restrictions. Join ongoing or next games with your kids and family! My team lost most times because we played against kids’ groups 🤪.
Zip line - This is a paid event with height restrictions. I didn’t try it, but it looked fun!
Infinite cave - The queue was long, so I had to miss it, but heard it was a fun experience for some!
Flurry - Bring your little ones to play with soft foam balls and obstacle courses. We also threw some flurries at the zip liners; it was super fun!!
The Lil Breeze - An obstacle course designed separately for kids and adults. The adults’ arena requires more physical energy, and those who finished it looked super tired! But I’m sure it was super fun.
Winterlude maze - A small (kinda see-through) maze built on-site, probably taking about 5-10 mins to finish.
Lacrosse - This is a ritual played by First Nations, where you can interact, learn, and play the game with actual lacrosse athletes.
Finally, if you want to take a break or grab a bite, there is a chill zone sponsored by @timhortons !
