🇨🇦My success story of finding IT job while on student visa🫶 Keep reading 👇

Despite facing numerous rejections due to my student visa, landing a full-time IT job in Canada proved possible. 
.
Initially, traditional job-search platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed yielded no success for part-time roles while I was a student.
So upon a friend’s recommendation, I turned to freelancing on @upwork , tailoring my resume for each application. Finally a software company offered me a part-time position while I was still in college. 
However, under a bad judgement of their work culture based on an hour-long interview, I declined the offer.

Surprisingly, three months later, the same employer extended a full-time offer with an attractive salary, aligning perfectly with my imminent graduation. 
I accepted, and they patiently waited for me to complete my studies and obtain a work permit. 
.
Eager to jumpstart my IT career, I requested an exception from my college to finish studies early, which they graciously granted. 
.
I completed my studies two weeks ahead, secured a study completion letter, applied for a work permit, and started working the next day. 
.
The journey taught me that opportunities in Canada abound, and sometimes, being in the right place at the right time is key. 🇨🇦
