There’s no doubt about it that our summer’s are short, so, we’re soaking in every moment we can to visit some of favourite places close to home! 

Located about 50 minutes from Ottawa, destination.almonte is a great spot to visit for the day (or night!) - here are the deets on the day: 

🌺 scenic walk along the Mississippi River 
🍴 lunch at joesitalkitchen (cannot get over their pizza & pasta!)
🛍️ so many beautiful local shops to check out along Mill Street 
🍦 ending our day with a sweet treat from thealmonteicecreamshop
