I am a PROUD c-birth, mama (x2!!!). The amount of stigma that still exists with c-births completely baffles me. Especially the eyebrows raised when I decided to schedule a c-birth the second time around. 🤔

🍼 it is NOT the easy way out 
🍼 nothing can prepare you for the pain and discomfort from a major surgery - on top of the physical & emotional rollercoaster you’re experiencing from bringing a human into this world 
🍼 I had serious complications from my first emergency c-birth because of the lack of education and understanding around the procedure
🍼 having a c-birth DOES NOT and I repeat DOES NOT make you any less of a mama to your baby

I wear my scar with so much dignity and happiness - it was the passage way to bring my little warriors earth side and I wouldn’t have it any other way! To all my warrior, mamas - happy c-birth awareness month! ♥️
